This will be my last blog post until after Christmas.  Once again, this year The Christian Bryant Foundation was blessed with gifts for Christian’s Birthday.  With these gifts, a dononation of $1,000 has been made to provide Christmas for a teenage boy that was very recently diagnosed with cancer.  Thank you so much to everyone that continues to support Christian’s Foundation.  Every gift truly makes a difference!  Also, this month, The Christian Bryant Foundation received two other large gifts.  In honor of Christian’s memory two other young cancer patients and their families will receive a wonderful Christmas.  Monday morning, my car was completely loaded with wrapped gifts for these two families.  I am so humbled by the generosity of those that have been touched and inspired by Christian.  I did fine, when I picked up the first gifts, but Monday morning, the tears flowed as gifts were loaded in my car.  I delivered these to the oncology clinic and with the help of Ashley Zani and Sugar Wheeler, the gifts were put in a safe place for the families.  The first gifts were picked up Monday evening, by the teenage cancer patient’s Grandmother - I am told she was very moved and very emotional and very humbled by the gifts.  This warms my heart.

Two, years ago, around this time, Christian was in the hospital for high dose chemotherapy and we met another patient and his Mom.  This Mom, Lulu Singleton, has become a dear friend and I truly love her whole family.  I am thankful that she allowed me to help her with a Christmas project she is doing.  All I did was buy some shampoo and bandaides.  But, today, she let me go out to her home and pick up a load of the Christmas bags, so she would not have to make so many trips to the hospital.  These are huge bags, close to 20lbs each and filled with everything you would possibly need for a hospital admission...tons and tons of great goodies.  Thank you Lulu and Jesse Singleton for giving back...this sweet couple also walked the half marathon as members of Team CMB back in October.

Tomorrow morning, I am having breakfast with two women that I dearly love.  During Christian’s Journey/Race we met some really special people and I continue to be introduced to new people that have all been affected in some way by childhood cancer.  I am looking forward to my time tomorrow morning with Patrina Bryson and Holly Shull.

Friday, is my sweet husband, Chris’ 50th Birthday.  Beginning tomorrow afternoon, I will be focusing on Chris and Bailey, making new memories and treasuring all of our memories of Christian.  Thank you all for loving and supporting our family and thank you for supporting The Christian Bryant Foundation.  Merry Christmas! - Robyn Bryant
